Full undergraduate scholarships for South African Students to study at the University of Cape Town

Gallagher Scholar candidates are citizens of South Africa who reflect academic achievement and evidence of leadership potential. Race, gender, and religion are not considered as factors in scholarship selection. Nine Candidates will be selected to interview with Gallagher Foundation representatives.

The Gallagher Foundation Scholarship Covers:

Tuition
Books and supplies
Spending money
Room and board
Meals
Transportation

Candidates who receive the Gallagher Foundation Scholarship cannot receive additional scholarships. Scholars can receive Merit based awards, but should not receive funding from other scholarships.

Gallagher Scholar candidates exhibit:

Evidence of leadership potential
A high level of ethical values with each Scholar firmly believing that progress can be achieved through peaceful means.
