Call for Application: PSiRA Youth Empowerment Service Programme (YES) 2024/2025

The Private Security business Regulatory Authority (PSiRA), headquartered in Centurion (Eco Park), regulates South Africa’s private security business.PSiRA is seeking unemployed learners/graduates to join the Youth Employment Service Programme.

YES is a collaborative effort designed to address and eliminate young unemployment in South Africa. PSiRA hopes to correlate with the YES program’s goal of linking kids to economic opportunity by cultivating an interest in their lives and successes.

The programme will give qualified participants with a 12-month experience and several learning opportunities.

Stipend: NQF 8 stipend R7000

•Must have the ability to put other people first (Ubuntu)
•Must be professional, honest, ethical, accountable and have a sense of integrity.

•Applicants must be South African citizens, aged between 18 and 35 years.
•Applicants must be prepared to enter into an argument with the PSiRA and Youth Empowerment Programme Service (YES).
•Applicants who have already participated in a Youth Empowerment Programme (YES) will NOT be considered.
•Studied at an accredited South African Educational Institution in the above-mentioned field of study.
•Applications should be accompanied by a comprehensive CV and certified copies of all qualifications and identity document.
•Candidates must indicate the field and region they are applying for on the application letter.
•Failure to submit the requested documents will result in your application not being considered.
•Applications received after the closing date will not be considered.
•Should you be in possession of a foreign qualification, it must be accompanied by an evaluation certificate from the South African Qualification •Authority (SAQA). Please take note that all qualifications are subject to verification.
•Successful candidates will be appointed on a YES Programme for a period of 12 months.
