Role summary
The Procurement Assistant will be responsible for raising purchase orders and maintaining procurement records. She/He also assists in contractor selections by gathering procurement specifications and tender bids received from suppliers. He/ She is responsible for evaluating suppliers, products, and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality.

Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics or business administration or Economics. Professional certification in procurement an added advantage;
- Minimum of 2 years of prior work experience in a similar role in an NGO or private commercial sector;
- Experience handling bid analysis, budgets, market research, order fulfillment, requisitions and vendor management;
- Practical experience in use of a reputable Procurement Management Software or ERP system.
