The eTrade for Women Advocates are accomplished and powerful female entrepreneurs dedicated to closing the gender gap.
The Advocates are appointed by the Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. They serve as role models and help to forge a new path for women digital entrepreneurs around the world. They share their ideas and bring women’s voices to the forefront, thereby amplifying their effect at the regional and global levels.
eTrade for Women Advocates Requirements
- A highly successful and influential woman entrepreneur
- The founder of an e-commerce or digital business
- Based in one of the following regions: South Asia, South-East Asia, Francophone Africa, Anglophone Africa
- Willing to inspire others and make a positive impact on your ecosystem
