The United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network Nigeria (UN SDSN Nigeria) acknowledges the serious threat of climate change and its consequences as a result of the triple planetary emergency, which includes rising global temperatures, habitat loss that leads to species extinction, and ongoing pollution of air, land, and water.

The Climate Actors Accelerator Programme (CAAP) is specifically created for young innovators and change-makers aged 18 to 35 who are passionate about providing solutions to the global climate issue, thereby building a livable environment on the path to a net-zero future. This knowledge-sharing and innovation program takes a complete approach to establishing a sustainable future, including advanced training, bootcamps, environmental campaigns, clean-up initiatives, tree-planting activities, ecological tours, and new thinking.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for the UN SDSN Nigeria Climate Actors Accelerator Programme 2024:

To participate in this program, please note the following criteria before proceeding with your application:

Applicant must be Nigerian, and between the ages of 18 – 35 years.
Ability to commit at least 4 hours per week throughout the programme.
Availability to partake in Masterclass sessions, Climate Education, and Community Development Projects.
Interested in being a development and transformation agent.
