WFP Innovation Stability and Peace Accelerator Program 2024 for startups and Innovators

The global hunger and malnutrition problem is most acute in fragile and conflict-affected areas (FCAs), where over 1.5 billion people face unprecedented threats to their food security and livelihood. The CGIAR, in conjunction with the World Food Programme (WFP) Innovation Accelerator, is establishing the “Stability-and-Peace Accelerator Programme” to help vulnerable nations improve their food, land, and water systems.

The World Food Programme Innovation Accelerator Program invites innovators, entrepreneurs, and changemakers to propose ground-breaking solutions that can boost resilience, ensure food and nutrition security, improve climate adaptability, and promote social cohesion and sustainability in conflict-affected and vulnerable communities

The WFP Innovation Accelerator and CGIAR will assist chosen teams with a comprehensive program aimed at accelerating the development of potential solutions and preparing them for scale. Along with financial, technical, and business support, scientific consulting services are provided to boost the innovator’s ability to generate a life-changing sustainability impact. The emphasis is on identifying and fostering ideas that are not only innovative, but also sustainable and scalable, with the ability to achieve long-term good change in some of the world’s most challenging places.
