Empowering Youth Voices: Submit Your Application for the 6th General Assembly of the World Youth Parliament for Water

Objectives: Under the overarching theme “Water for Shared Prosperity,” participants will have the opportunity to:

• Learn from peers through interactive workshops.
• Explore Indonesian water issues and culture via field visits and activities with local communities.
• Engage with inspiring experts and fellow young water leaders.
• Influence the political process of the 10th World Water Forum.
• Present youth perspectives and priorities in various sessions and side events.
• Take actionable steps in their communities regarding vital water and climate issues.
• Contribute to shaping a robust and unified Global Youth Movement for Water.

• Date: May 14th – 24th, 2024
• Location: Bali, Indonesia

Who Can Apply? Young individuals aged 18 to 35 worldwide passionate about water issues.

Selection Criteria: The committee will consider:

• Involvement in the water or sanitation sector.
• Experience/background.
• Participation in existing WYPW chapters or working groups.
• Involvement in the 10th World Water Forum.
• Motivation and interest in the WYPW mission.
• Gender and geographical balance.

Cost and Financial Support:

• Covered by Organizers: Local transportation, accommodation, food, program expenses, and participation fees to the World Water Forum.
• Covered by Participants: International transportation, visa expenses, vaccines, other medications, and insurance.
