The “Women Entrepreneurship for Africa” (WE4A) program is an action jointly supported by the European Union (EU), the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF), and the German Development agency GIZ (E4D program).

MTN Foundation Yellopreneur Grant and Loan 2024 for Female Entrepreneurs

The MTN Y’ellopreneur Initiative seeks to contribute to the reduction in women unemployment and advance women development in ‘Entrepreneurship’ through capacity building and access to capital through loans, grants, and advisory support services for long term business sustainability.

The initiative targets Female Entrepreneurs across the country who display passion and commitment to self-employment and run an existing business of two years and above in the areas of; circular economy, manufacturing, processing, agriculture, ICT/digital services, waste management, etc.

LSETF MSME Loan Program (N50,000 – N500,000 per person)

The LSETF Loan Program strives to provide small businesses with inexpensive access to capital so they can grow, expand, create wealth, and employ people.

The lending arrangement, which has an annual interest rate of about 9%, is offered to Lagos State registered business owners.

The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) was formed by the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund Law 2016 to give financial assistance to Lagos State people and to combat unemployment through job and wealth development.

The Mastercard Foundation Africa Growth Fund is a bold initiative—a USD $ 200 million Fund of Funds—that works through African investment funds to support early-stage, growth-oriented small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on the continent.

The Mastercard Foundation Africa Growth Fund’s goal is to provide dignified and fulfilling work for young people, particularly young women.

The Fund of Funds is catalytic, helping to bring in additional capital for African entrepreneurs, particularly female entrepreneurs. It strengthens and de-risks African investment funds committed to advancing gender equity in entrepreneurship.

The Resilience Fund offers fundamental, flexible, long-term support for up to ten years. This allows grantee partners to strategy, plan, and execute the work they want to undertake, in the way they want to do it, over time, in order to build, strengthen, and sustain their feminist movements.
