The Iyaloja Non-interest Loan known as Iyaloja Monie Scheme is a component of the Renewed Hope Government Enterprise and Empowerment (GEEP Loan) Programme of the President Tinubu Administration.

The Iyaloja Monie Scheme is a loan programme, a rebrand of the GEEP Loan Programme, through which the beneficiaries, basically market women traders, will recieve a non-interest loan of N50,000 each, repayable within 6 months.

According to the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation headed by Dr Betta Edu, the Iyaloja Monie Loan Scheme is targeted at 1.5 Million beneficiaries across the 36 States of the Federation.

The loan Scheme will be providing for poor market women-traders, helping them to improve on their capital and expand on their businesses as part of the ways of removing Nigerians from multi-dimensional poverty and humanitarian crises.

The Iyaloja Monie Loan Scheme will be implemented in 3 phases with 500,000 beneficiaries emerging from each phase, beginning from this November, 2023.

The implementation of the Iyaloja Monie Loan Scheme is such that the beneficiaries will be selected from 109 Markets in every senatorial zone of the country.

Prior to the lunch of the Iyaloja Monie Loan Scheme this month, the minister has commenced sensitization of market women in markets across the 36 States Plus FCT.

Upon the flag-off of the Iyaloja Monie Loan Scheme, the registration of the beneficiaries will begin within this November, 2023.

How to Apply for Iyaloja Non-interest Loan Scheme

1. Registration for the Iyaloja Monie GEEP Loan Scheme will be done in the 109 selected markets in every senatorial zone of the federation by Registration Officers from each State who will be appointed by the Ministry and supervised by the State Focal Person.

2. There is no website for the registration or application for the Iyaloja Monie GEEP Loan Scheme. Any website claiming to be for the Iyaloja Monie GEEP Loan Scheme registration is Fake.

3. A Market Woman eligible for registration in the Iyaloja Monie GEEP Loan Scheme will be captured in her shop or market stand inside the market by the Registration Officers.
